VizagRealEstate.com- Let’s celebrate the victory of forces of
good over evil
Celebration – everyone loves it. In India, celebration means
fun, enjoyment, food, colours and the entire extravaganza that one can think
of. Dussehra is not just a celebration; it is an
occasion to remind mankind of the power and the need to be kind, complacent and
compassionate towards fellow beings.
People may call it by various names in
different parts of the country – Navarathri, Dasara,
Vijaya Dashami, Durga Puja,
Dussehra, but the
essence of the festival is just one – to commemorate the triumph of good over
evil. In the western India, people perform the Dandiya Raas to celebrate Navarathri or Dussehra.
In India, the harvest season begins at
this time and so the Mother Goddess is invoked to start the new harvest season
and reactivate the vigor and fertility of the soil. This is done through
religious performances and rituals which are thought to invoke cosmic forces
that rejuvenate the soil. Many people of the Hindu faith observe Dussehra
through social gatherings and food offerings to the gods at home and in temples
throughout India.
This was just a glimpse of celebrating Dussehra. There are
many other ways in which the festival is celebrated in different regions in
India – one blog would not suffice to describe them all. The best thing to celebrate Dussehra is to enjoy and experience it. After all, words can never replace an
experience.
May this dussehra light up
for you the hopes of happy times and dreams for a year full of smiles. VizagRealEstate.com Wish You All A Happy Dussehra! May
you succeed in all your endeavors in life!
